A Rising Name Behind Music’s Most Memorable Visual Moments
As the lines between music, fashion, and visual media continue to blur, a new generation of creatives is helping shape how audiences experience artists beyond the stage. Among them is New York-based creative director and photographer Yvonne Song, whose work has steadily earned recognition for its ability to capture both the energy of live performance and the authenticity of the moments surrounding it.
Rather than limiting herself to one discipline, Song has built a career that spans photography, content production, editorial imagery, and experiential projects. Her work reflects a thoughtful balance of documentary-style storytelling and polished visual direction, making her an increasingly sought-after collaborator for artists, brands, and cultural productions alike.

Building a Career Across Music, Editorial, and Experiential Production
Song’s recent body of work includes collaborations with an impressive lineup of internationally recognized artists. She served as the sole content creator for Miguel’s New York City events, documenting key moments throughout his latest creative era—from private studio sessions to nationally televised appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, as well as performances during the CAOS Tour and production work at Roots Picnic.
Her growing portfolio also includes photography for rapper JT’s Pride performance and exclusive pop-up events, along with behind-the-scenes creative work for Amaarae that has been featured through Vevo. In addition, Song has collaborated with artists including GALI, Santa, and Jackson Wang, demonstrating an ability to adapt her visual style across diverse genres, audiences, and creative environments.
Alongside these collaborations, Song continues to pursue independently driven concepts. She conceived, produced, and creatively directed a Boiler Room-inspired event inside a 7-Eleven convenience store, an unconventional production that generated viral attention across Chinese social media platforms. Her original short film has received award recognition, while a visual project inspired by Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock” has accumulated more than 80,000 views on YouTube, highlighting her versatility across both photography and motion.

Looking Ahead: Fashion, Film, and Global Creative Storytelling
With an expanding body of work already spanning multiple creative disciplines, Song is now focused on projects that further bridge editorial photography, filmmaking, and cultural exploration. She is currently producing high-fashion editorial work intended for submission to Vogue, while simultaneously developing a documentary-style series exploring the lives and perspectives of emerging Gen Z creatives across New York, Paris, Shanghai, and the United Kingdom.
Already screened at New York University, the project examines how artists, photographers, musicians, designers, and other cultural voices are influencing contemporary creative culture through fashion, music, nightlife, technology, and visual expression. The series reflects Song’s continued interest in documenting not only individuals, but the broader communities and movements shaping today’s global creative landscape.
Looking beyond photography and film, Song is also developing future live experiences that combine music, visual art, and community engagement. By bringing together emerging talent and immersive storytelling, she continues to expand a career defined by curiosity, collaboration, and a commitment to creating work that resonates across industries and cultures.
