Levex Builds on International Festival Success With New Collaboration “Get It”
Vienna-based bass house producer Levex is extending his reach beyond Austria with a growing catalog of releases, international collaborations, and appearances across Europe’s electronic music circuit. His productions, characterized by melodic builds, weighty basslines, and a strong focus on the dancefloor, have landed on labels including Monstercat, STMPD RCRDS, Dim Mak, and Hysteria. That body of work has also attracted support from Martin Garrix, Timmy Trumpet, Julian Jordan, Dr. Fresch, Henry Fong, and 4B.
The Austrian producer’s development has unfolded both in the studio and onstage. Levex has brought his music to Electric Love Festival, Danube Island Festival, Bootshaus, Lovestream Festival, and Papaya Club, while his ongoing residency at Vienna’s Prater Dome keeps him closely connected to his home city’s club scene. Together, those experiences have allowed him to shape a sound that remains firmly grounded in bass house while adapting naturally to different stages, audiences, and collaborations.
His latest chapter comes in the form of “Get It,” a new collaboration with Costa Rican producer Disto, released August 21 through Dutch imprint Bass House Music. The single follows Levex’s recent appearance on Monstercat alongside Nostalgix for “Shine” and continues a run of releases connecting his project with artists and labels beyond Austria.
On “Get It,” Levex and Disto move between euphoric melodic passages and heavier bass-driven sections, using tightly constructed grooves to carry the record into its more forceful drops. The combination gives both producers room to bring their respective approaches to the collaboration without losing the directness required of a track intended for club and festival settings.
The record’s path to release began almost two years ago. Levex and Disto initially developed the track remotely through online studio sessions, continuing to revisit the production as it evolved from its original demo. After an extended period of refinement, the collaboration ultimately found its home with Bass House Music.
By then, however, “Get It” had already begun reaching audiences. Levex selected the unreleased track as the opener for his festival sets throughout the summer, allowing the record to develop its own identity in a live setting before its official arrival. The reactions surrounding those performances helped build anticipation among his audience and provided an early indication of how the collaboration translated beyond the studio.
The release adds another international collaboration to a career increasingly defined by activity across borders. Between releases on established electronic labels, recognition from prominent DJs, performances throughout Europe, and his continued presence within Vienna’s club scene, Levex is building a body of work that connects his Austrian roots with a wider international bass house audience.
“Get It” is out now worldwide via Bass House Music and is available across all major streaming platforms.
